I made this piece for my friend when she was pregnant with her baby, Reece. The base of this is mdf board. I like to sketch out my idea first... this helps with picturing the overall design and also making sure you have enough of a certain color of glass. This piece was done with mosaic glass cutters (wheeled cutters) for random pieces and fluid glass cutters + guided cutters for the patterned pieces (such as the leaves). The whole piece was grouted and completed with a stained wood frame.
